For this developmental stage Monarch Therapy School has two roads our students can take, these are:

Certifiable program:

The students that benefit from this level of service are those who will be completing the national academic standards and therefor completing a certified program. Monarch Middle School works with INEA as the Spanish program and can offer an online Home Schooling program for students requiring credits in English.

Our students follow a tailor made program that covers their appropriate academic needs and guides them through their grade level subjects. Monarch Therapy School provides therapeutic support in the form of individual or group coaching sessions once a week. We also provide learning workshops that support learning skills, as well as extracurricular and sports activities through out the day. Each student is responsible for their goals thus teaching them to self advocate and have full ownership of their programs.

The Monarch Model is still an integral part of each child’s program working through four core goal areas that include, self-awareness and self-regulation, relationship development, executive functions and academic competence. The Monarch Institute for Neurological Differences in Houston Texas, USA, supervises our work thus creating an intensive and highly professional for each one of our students.

Non academic program

The students that are following our non-academic road are those for whom a full academic workload for a certified program would not allow them to shine. Our students at this level are still provided with practices in reading, writing, mathematic and science skills but with sufficient curricular modifications to help them succeed.

Our students at this level work thorough a daily schedule of group and individual activities that allows them to have the necessary support in all areas. Students receive one on one support from our team of therapists in the areas of language and communication, occupational therapy, social thinking, and individual coaching sessions. It is our intention to help guide a student into developing preferences that will later support their professional competence.
